Survey now open – BAME older people and their care needs

As part of a new stream of research, we are looking to identify BAME older people (age 60+) who would be willing to answer questions about their care needs and the difficulties that they have in accessing care services.

This survey is part of a project funded by the University of Warwick looking at how older people in Coventry access support for their everyday living. We are especially interested in hearing from older people who identify as BAME (Black Asian and Minority Ethnic) and the specific challenges that members of these communities face in accessing care services – especially during the period of lockdown.

The survey can be accessed here https://warwick.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6K9OpbFHCBHOZ1P

Although much of our work is focused in Coventry and surrounding regions, the survey is open to any BAME older people living in the UK.

If you would like any further information about the survey then please contact either Juanita Elias juanita.elias@warwick.ac.uk or project researcher Shahnaz Akhter shahnaz.akhter.1@warwick.ac.uk
